On December 6, an online meeting for the Joint Management Committee of the Sino-foreign cooperative education project in Digital Media Art was held between Qufu Normal University and Frosinone Academy of Fine Arts (Accademia di belle arti di Frosinon), Italy. Hu Fangang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Qufu Normal University, representatives from Office of International Exchange & Cooperation and School of Communication, Mauro Walter Pananelli, Director of the International Department of Frosinone Academy of Fine Arts, Franca Tribioli, Professor of Art History, and the leaders of relevant projects of the two universities, were in attendance.
In his speech, Hu Fangang commended the positive efforts and fruitful outcomes of both parties in the cooperative education project. He proposed that the meeting should explore feasible solutions to the existing issues of the project, in order to ensure its steady and high-standard growth. Additionally, Hu Fangang hoped that the project should be utilized as a gateway to further extend the scope of collaboration, heighten the level of cooperation, share resources and benefit each other mutually, so as to attain mutual success in the area of international collaboration between the two universities.
Mauro Walter Pananelli strongly acknowledged the importance of the project to Frosinone Academy of Fine Arts, and declared that they would continue to send highly-skilled teachers for the project, endeavor to guarantee the quality of the implementation of the project, and inquiry thoughts and recommendations of our university on the teaching materials and teaching style, in order to better serve the long-term development of the project in the future instruction.
At the meeting, topics such as the contact persons for related business of both parties, the adjustment of members of the Joint Management Committee of the project, project evaluation, and teaching management were discussed in-depth. After discussing the exchange of teachers and students and the cooperation of scientific research, two parties reached a preliminary intention.
The Chinese-Italian cooperative education project in Digital Media Art has been approved and enrolled students since 2021. This initial meeting of the Joint Management Committee since the project was conducted has a profound significance for our university to expand and deepen the cooperative relationship with Frosinone Academy of Fine Arts, and to improve the quality of international cooperative education of both parties.
