On December 14, Qufu Normal University and Suwon University of Korea held an online meeting of the joint management committee of Sino-foreign cooperative education project in music performance, with Cui Guangzhu, director of the International Department of Suwon University, presiding over the meeting.

In his speech, Cui Guangzhu expressed his appreciation for the accomplishments of the cooperative education project over the last three years, commending the leaders of Qufu Normal University, the Office of International Exchange & Cooperation, and the College of Music for their hard work in the project’ implementation.

According to the agenda of the meeting, Shen Tongwu, Director of the Office of International Exchange & Cooperation of Qufu Normal University, reported on the advancement of the application for the prolongation of the cooperative project, and conversed with the representatives from Suwon University about the alteration of the fund settlement of Suwon University. Subsequently, both parties arrived at a consensus.

Secondly, Xiao Guibin, Dean of the College of Music of Qufu Normal University, summarized the accomplishments of the cooperative project which had been running for three years, and he discussed the “Four one-third” requirements for teaching implementation, the offline teaching of teachers from Suwon University to China, and the improvement of teaching management with the representatives from Suwon University. The heads of the professional departments of Suwon University responded to the issues and solutions encountered during the cooperative project.

Finally, the two parties deliberated on topics such as deepening student exchanges and cultivating talents between Qufu Normal University and Suwon University.

Representatives from the Office of International Exchange & Cooperation and the College of Music were present at the meeting.
